Hello,
My name is Kimyatta McNeil-Taylor, an Earth and Environmental Science/Biology Teacher at Harding University. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC with a Pittsburgh, PA background. Successfully, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). I also acquired a Masters of Public Health with a specialization in Behavioral and Social Sciences from Capella University. Additionally, I have rendered over 15 years of service within the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools district. Coupling with nearly 6 years as a Youth Program Coordinator for a Non-Profit organization within the inner city of Charlotte, NC.
My ultimate goal is to create an enjoyable and engaging learning environment for all students who cross my journey of teaching. Certainly, my students will be given an equal opportunity to learn and share their ideas and exercise their creativity through education. My passion is to inspire and motivate students to achieve and excel throughout. As an educator, it is my responsibility to inspire the fire of learning within each student along with modeling professionalism, respect, patience, caring and understanding continuously.
